Capitalism; we’re not against it, for there are plenty of good rich people in the world. The issue lies with the sleight of hand, greasy-palmed fat cats that are selling off our country’s assets, paying little to no tax, and giving nothing back to the nation they strip bare.

Their strongest tactic is to send us into a frenzy of chaos and distraction when they are trying to get away with sly business. Hence why Scourge is defined simply as “something causing pain or misery”

This pain that we experience is not caused by the system, but by the actions of ethically corrupt people who are abusing the system. There are plenty of people who are successors of capitalism using their status and wealth to bring benefit to many people, so we can see that it is not the system that is to blame. These people often do not make the spotlight, but they do exist.
